Heavy Metal Food : a culinary meeting with Maurizio (Kataklysm)

I was looking for a catch-phrase to launch this first Heavy Metal Food show – and Maurizio himself suggested it to me during our metallic and culinary meeting, in the half-shadow of the Trabendo (a Parisian concert hall) dressing rooms, when Kataklysm stopped by our lovely French capital city on January 25th.

Kataklysm is THE death metal band from Quebec. Founded in 1992, the band regularly travels all over the U.S., Canada and Europe to bring their “Northern hyperblast” sound to the masses. I know that these European tours, so far from their home country, are not always easy, and the numerous shows are physically draining. I invite you to join us to discover Kataklysm’s life on the band, learn how the singer keeps a healthy diet and how he deals with the temptations, rest periods and discipline imposed on him by his manager.

So settle down for 20 minutes for a taste of this new show. Stay Hungry. Stay Metal.
