Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big) fights for food!

Here we are. I’m ecstatic to come back to Radio Metal for this new season of Heavy Metal Food! Last season, I hope I have managed to make you want to spend more time in your kitchen. I was pleased to meet many of you at our very own Hellfest. I did get laughed at here and there by walking around the crowd with my Vichy Saint-Yorre bottle and my club sandwiches, but those who have joined me in my fight to eliminate fast-food from their life have proven to me that I wasn’t preaching in the desert.

This new season will be 100% organic and 100% militant because I’m convinced that our current food is our daily poison. My team and myself have spent the summer collecting information and accounts from scientists, doctors, farmers and consumers. We’ve been taking risks in our field-investigation to break the omertà put in place by the powerful giants of the food industry. The material we have managed to collect unfortunately goes beyond any doubt. The situation is catastrophic but we still have a small chance to fix it. Eating healthy food will be our main weapon to survive the plague of daily stress and diseases.

I have also been able to talk to many metal bands and musicians, some of which are deeply involved in healthy diets such as Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big), in physical exercise like David Braiman (Disturbed), Richard Fortus (Guns N’ Roses), Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy) or even vegetarianism with Dave Brock (Hawkwind), Enid Williams (Girlschool), Rob (Necronomicon or Mia Coldheart (Crucified Barbara). They all acknowledge that it is getting ever harder to have a healthy diet on tour but also in their daily life. As I did with them, I plan on giving you the necessary information to survive in this jungle of feeding dishonesty which is junk food.
